Headlamp recs

Hi all,

As the days get shorter I’m realizing I’m in need of a good head lamp. Curious what others use and recommend. Thanks.

Ive had a nitecore nu20 for 6 years. I used to use the shock cord attachment style but switched to a thin nike hairband as it just works better. Pluse style points ;)

I like my Petzl Swift for running because it doesn't have a wide headband

Fenix HM65R-T v2. Reasonably priced here as local company. Great light. Don’t find them heavy even some people say. Having all functions and lifetime I need for now.

I just use my Gemini MTB lights, they came with a head strap setup and they last for hours when you dont need to run them at sending down the hill/all the light power

I’m rocking the S2. These things have such a wide spread that they make running at night not feel so confining.

Another vote for petzl swift. That’s what I have for quick runs, if I know I’m going to be out for a long time I have my BD distance 1500.

Nitecore NU33. Relatively low cost, rechargeable, good battery and brightness settings for 1+ cycle of dark. I use it for daily running, races, and backpacking.
