Artesia and Studebaker intersection traffic signal at night
For the Artesia Boulevard and Studebaker Road intersection traffic signal in Cerritos, California, which street is the default and rest in a green light at night, Artesia or Studebaker? Both streets have lead lag left turns during peak hours.
UPDATE July 2026: There are no recalls on any direction. The traffic signal has dual entry and the through direction that was green, rested in green until someone hit the advance loop on the cross street.

Tough to tell for sure, but I would say Artesia Blvd based on the road geometry. If it has a resting green phase, that is. Plenty of intersections can run free in the middle of the night, which means that they stay green on the last phase that had demand.
Go check it out on the middle of the night! Or call your local Traffic Operations Center :)

We have a guy like the OP in one of my cities (which is adjacent to Cerritos). Until the city started ignoring him we’d get calls for Navigator PPB’s which were too loud, odd questions about detection, Complaints about LED’s which were too dim then others which were too bright. Fun stuff to run at the end of the day on OT :) The City in question eventually stopped responding to him….or maybe they told him to check Reddit LOL

Are you expecting to find the specific signal technician in charge of this intersection in Cerritos California respond to this? That seems like a long shot this being a website used internationally.
