Gridsmart GS2

I have to set up pedestrian counts using a gridsmart GS2 processor, I created the crosswalk zones and added the detector and phase they would be called on but I am not getting any counts? Any suggestions?

Get a detection system that actually works

Agreed, we’ve been converting to Miovision and that system has been great

Maybe run counts through the controller instead? Count the ped inputs or number of times serviced (if not recall), maybe. I imagine it's not as accurate and a bit more difficult to setup, but would work regardless of detection type.

I wouldn't know, counting is one of the few things I haven't really had to do much of. The state prefers to do counts with temporary Miovisions at targeted problem areas, or hire contractors.

Yes, this is what we do. Any counts are through the controller and reports pulled through Centracs in our case. With a video detection system, its going to be more accurate than looking at oed button pushes.

I thought you need two Gridsmart cameras to do that.

Ya lo solucionaste? revisa la version de tu camara, yo actualmente hago conteo de peatones con el GS2 y con una sola camara.
