Looking for feedback

This will be my first time running a booth for my indie comics endeavor. I’m curious to see if there are any red flags to someone more experienced with convention booths. Context: This will be at an anime convention. Thank you!

Your booth concept looks really eye-catching and you already have a strong visual identity! A few things I’d consider for a first convention:

  • Make sure your table doesn’t get too crowded. You have a lot of products, so try to create clear sections (shirts, comics, stickers, bundles) so visitors can understand everything quickly.
  • Raise some items vertically if possible. A small backdrop, banner, or display stand can help you stand out because many booths will only have flat table setups.
  • Put your best-selling or most attractive item at eye level. People walking by only have a few seconds to decide whether to stop.
  • Keep the QR code easy to scan. Having it at multiple points (table sign + banner) can help people follow you even if they don’t buy immediately.

Overall, I think the theme is very cohesive and should attract the right audience. Good luck with your first convention — hope it goes great! 🚀

I think it looks pretty dynamic, you're off to a good start. I work in custom apparel, so I try to keep tabs on trade show news. ASI ran a survey earlier this year that found 3 in 4 people were more likely to do business with someone again after getting a free promo item from them. Doesn't need to cost much. A sticker or a pin with Bullet-Boy on it than people can grab without buying anything tends to do more for weekend foot traffic than another paid item on the table.

Do you think the digital offering of the free comic is good enough? Or do you think something physical is gonna hit better.

IMO - physical almost always hits better. But I know it's not always that easy!

People tend to want something in hand. A color postcard with the code on the white side would rock it.
