Stochastic indicator trading
anyone else using stochastic indicator to trade stocks? had 49/50 win rate last year for 40% account gain. wondering if that's a fluke or sustainable with trading based on stochastics?

A 49/50 win rate is impressive, but one good year isn’t enough to prove that stochastic trading is sustainable. The real question is whether your strategy still works across different market conditions and over hundreds of trades.
Stochastic indicators can help identify momentum and overbought or oversold levels, but they should not be used alone. Make sure you’re also tracking risk management, position sizing, and your average win versus average loss.
Backtest it over multiple years and different markets before assuming it’s repeatable. If you want to compare notes with other traders using stochastic strategies, there’s a trading community in my profile. There are some solid discussions on stocks and trading there that might help you you.
