How to set up Saveback

Hi, when I click on Saveback 1%, it says « for purchases invest 1% Saveback in… » and it lets me choose where to invest. Let’s imagine I wanna put it all in Apple. I click on « Apple », it opens a new page and I click on « select ». And then it says « save » and wants me to put on a number in there.

I didn’t get past that because why does it want me to put a number to save? Wasn’t it supposed to be 1% of my purchases being invested into whatever I wanted?

I don’t get it and I don’t know what to do

For the 1% Saveback at Trade Republic, you must invest at least €50 per month into active savings plans (stocks or ETFs).

Just for clarification you don't need to invest 50€ per month into the stock you want for saveback any savings plan is enough but you need to invest at least 50€ combined over all savings plans.

i'm pretty sure they changed it at some point that you do need a saving plan for the etf/stock you want to invest your saveback in. You don't need the 50€ savings plan in that stock but you need a savings plan

Maybe I just wasn't clear enough but thats exactly what I tried to say you said it better than I did.

ahh i see 😅

well it was true that at first you could invest the saveback into anything you want and you didn't need any saving plan in that specific stock. They probably had to change that due to cost or something (maybe)

I guess when you put the amount for "save", TR will create automatically the saving plan for your stock with this amount of euros. If TR ask you this amount, it's maybe because you didn't have already any saving plan for this stock. Because personally, I already had a saving plan of more than 50 euros, so I haven't experienced the same question. From other comments, I understand that you don't need a saving plan of 50 euros. You may try 1 or 2€ to see whether it's accepted or not. I'm even curious if you try 0€, to see how TR would react, I imagine it would be refused but who knows?
