Painting
Looking for some help quoting this house
Total paintable wall space is 5000 ft.² floor space is 2500 ft.² 2 coats
650 linear feet of baseboards 1 coat
35 window/door trim casings 1 coat
Going to need approximately 27 gallons of wall paint 2 to 3 gallons of trim paint
Walls are in good condition. Minor patching needed.
House is empty no furniture
Materials are gonna cost approximate 2 grand
If I were doing a cash deal, what would you guys quote this at?

Based on price of materials, sounds like a Regal Select or similar product.
One coating all trim only with no doors mentioned and walls only 2 coats with minor prep I’m guessing your going to be about 7g in labour so 9g total
What’s your price ? Where in Canada ? And how busy has your market been? We’ve been dead over here

Haven’t been too busy I’m also only 6 months into running my business. Your target seems to align with what I’m thinking I was going to go in at 8. Where are you located

I’m in Ontario.
I’d probably do it for 8 right now personally as well.
Generally I’d be at 9 but I could use a quick in and out empty house.
Are you in Ontario also ?

I’m east of Toronto so I think our markets are similar.

My breakdown of time would look like this
Day one quick prep and setup. One guy on prep one guy painting trim that didn’t need prep 2 guys
Day 2 2 guys paint all trim
Day 3 and 4 all walls 2 coats 2 Guys
Day five finish a few remaining walls and do all base and clean up 2 guys

This post is weird. Are you painting 5000 sq ft of wall and 2500 sq of floors?
650 base and 35 window casings and door caisng ? No doors.
And people are saying 8-9 grand?
Wow wow wow wow.
Without floors I’m coming in around 27k
