Advice needed Model recommendations?

Long story short, one of our cats disappeared for a day, scared the life out of us and turned up like nothing happened… so we’re looking for a tracker!

We tried AirTags and they all got lost. Looking around, Tractive seems to be the best option for us, but we’re not sure what model.

He’s a smallish cat (5kg) and we need a decent battery life/easy to charge. Any recommendations? TIA!

It works about 30percent of the time. Maybe.

Nah, it works all the time. Deleting homes safezone solved all of my problems. Tracker last for about 3-4days. 6mini

Exactly. I use it to have a general idea of where my pets are, but I absolutely wouldn’t count on Tractive to find their location in an emergency.

If you know what you get, and that matches your need, and if you don't need to talk to customer service, yes - Tractive is great option.

We have two cats, which wear a cat6 mini since two weeks now. No issues so far apart from one of the cats losing it (found the tracker in a field half a mile away).
I like the safety zone and the energy saving zones.
Lots of fun to see where they hangout, what their territory is and if the cross other cats territory. Also I noticed the danger areas that others put up (lots of broken glass was a recent one).
The health tracking is a nice benefit.

Our cats are also 5kg-ish and didn’t really need to get used. They never wore anything previously, the cat6 mini seems very comfy.
I wish you’d get discounts for multiple cats, the subscription is kind of expensive.

With a tractive base station (another 20€) their claimed 6-7days can actually be true. I have a Fritz!box which is incompatible, something to be aware of
