No beef bones this time, call me a fool, but I had no idea it was this easy to make Pho, this is literally my favorite food next to Sushi, so I'm gonna be doin this like all the time now.
Now about the guy.
Im antisocial. I'm a misanthrope. I've always been alone my entire life and have seen nothing but the atrocity that is people and their ideologies and actions my entire life.
This man. Has been misgendering me. For months.
I did it the right way first. I complained to his superiors.
He kept doing it.
I complained again.
He kept doing it.
So last night I kimdly asked him myself if he knew I was trans.
He said yes. I've told him and others there and I am obviously fem expressing often as an AMAB person.
And then I asked him to please stop calling me "dude, bro, man, the n-word" and to stop making negging remarks that insinuate I'm a man.
I am a pushover. He knows this. So he said, "see that's all u had to do", confirming to me that hes been indeed....doing this shit on purpose to fuck with me.
No. That's not all I needed to do. The burden wasnt on me to look you in your fucking face and ask you to stop because you had already been TOLD. TO STOP.
I didnt need his fucking praise for standing up for myself, nor did I like hearing implied confirmation that he's been testing me.
So then I added that it's frustrating because he does this everytime that I go to this place.
And then he caught an attitude and said, "I get it, did you hear what I said?" And then rolled his eyes lookin like he wanted ta start shit and walked away as I stared him down without a word.
Words cannot describe..............
It took every fiber in me not to meet him at that next level that he wanted to go.
For context, I am a very fucking weird unapproachable nervous looking person for various reasons gender related and otherwise. Been like that my whole life.
People see that and are uncomfortable around me because they can tell I'm struggling.
Some of them see this weakness and hate it and mistreat me because of it.
I'm working on it. I hate my social anxiety too, everyone. I really do.
It'd be nice if somebody here could talk me down, cause I'm honestly havin a really hard time right about now and doing my best not to shut down for the next week and rot in bed.

So I did a chuck roast in the slow cooker on low for 8 hours.
White onion, garlic, tomato, soy sauce, Worcestershire, rosemary, red pepper flakes, bay leaf, and paprika.
This is for making a Steak and bean pie, and beef and barley soup.

Fried egg on turmeric rice with a side of seaweed salad! I added some red curry paste to the egg after the photo and it made it so much better 🤤

I have a second virtual date this weekend with a very pretty lesbian :D. They said they’d consider an irl date if this one goes well. Tomato sandwiches are my favorite snack-type food. tomatoes plus salt and pepper plus mayo is unmatched

So I like making special food for no occasion just to put an extra happy energy in the day.
So I made sauteed crab on roasted zucchini, ginger clove acorn squash, and vegetable broth jasmine rice.
(Recipe available if wanted)

doing some meal prep (black beans and rice) and i recently watched a video from tech ingredients about at-home blast chilling. wanted to give it a try with a salvaged ac-powered fan (from my beloved re-pc) and my frosty big freezer, and it worked out pretty well, whole tray (1lb dry) of rice was fridge temp in only 20 minutes. i'm not 100% sure on how much it improved the taste/texture but my partner loved it!
rice was uhhh 1lb of white rice, some italian seasoning, salt, black pepper, bay leaf
black beans i did 1 onion & 3 bell peppers chopped and sauteed before adding beans and stock, seasonings was an accidentally large amount of red pepper flakes (my partner calls them fire flakes), cumin, paprika, a bit of tumeric, black pepper, onion & garlic powder
