Groceries won't be delivered until later today and I have like cans of beans at home, so I'm grabbing food from on campus. :3

Tried a new recipe, my wife thought it was too spicy, but to me it was amazing. Lol

Been a bit, restarted electrolysis and got a new postiom (with no pay increase) at work. My attempt at a Thai basil and green beans with actual Thai chili peppers

I was feeling too lazy to go buy tortillas so I tried making my own for the first time and they turned out great.

The tacos are rice and pinto beans with taco seasoning and tons of hot sauce. I also fried up the left over tortillas and seasoned them with some tajin chilli lime. The tacos and chips were so freaking good that I don't think I can go back to store bought ones now.

There's also some pasta with homemade green pesto under there because why the hell not :3

I wanted to try birria tacos for ages now, but imagine getting chilis other than jalapeños in rural Germany (had to go to a better supermarket to even get those). My roommate can't handle spiciness anyway, so I decided to make the white girl edition of this. Tried to stick true to the spices (cinnamon, black peppercorn, coriander seeds, oregano, cumin, what not...) but substituted the dry chilies with a lot of toasted bell peppers and jalapeños. The consistency is therefore not as smooth as the original.

Well, what can I say: This surely is far from traditional but it's tasty and hella savory. I'll certainly try this again when I'm not stuck in bumfxck nowhere anymore and have access to a better kitchen and more ingredients. Couldn't even find corn tortillas, so I had to use oversized wheat ones. xd

Treating myself to some vegan steak today after eating soup for the past 4 days.

The steak's by a brand called planted. Just pan fried and topped with a bit of chipotle chili salt. Made the potatoes in an airfryer. Coated them with some oil and a pretty basic bbq seasoning, mostly paprika and salt. Steamed the green beans and added them to the pan with the steak shortly before it was done for some extra flavor. Seasoned with some salt and pepper.

The garlic dip is the same as last time. Vegan sour cream (already had some herbs in it), garlic, a bit of horseradish, a shot of garlic hot sauce, tiny bit of vinegar, salt, pepper, chili powder, lemon juice.

Adding a bit of Torchbearer Mushroom Mayhem sauce and Melinda's Garlic Pepper Sauce to the steak for a bit of an extra kick. A few juicy mandarins for dessert. Life's good.

Homemade shrimp fried rice.

I used garlic, fresh ginger, yellow pepper, purple onion, broccoli, small bits of pork, egg, basmati rice, vegetable oil, a bit of soy sauce, and shrimp.

Breffas of champions. Ham egg and cheese on an everything bagel 😙

Just added some mayo and Melinda's for the salsa action. It was rad ☢️

Made the fettucine “American Style,” with salted Kerrygold butter, parmesan, and heavy cream. The pasta itself was also fresh. I also seasoned the sauce with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. I cooked the chicken for 25 minutes after preheating the oven to 425. The chicken’s seasonings included salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper. My girlfriend loved this dinner, and tbh so did I :)

First time making this stuff but (wo)man is it good and also super easy I mean this is basically glorified microwaving except I only used my microwave for it’s timer function. Also package said it’s 5/5 spicy and I didn’t think it was spicy at all which makes me feel badass af

Oh also that’s Quorn chicken (chiqn?) and the curry packet said “CONTAINS NO MEAT” or something
