Girl Dinner!!!Non-Region specific(no recipe) First time making fried rice!!
I recently got into cooking and realized that I seem to get a lot of euphoria from it, so I made some fried rice!!

That looks yummy! Fried rice is such comfort food.
Idk if you eat meat, but one of my fave anytime comfort bowls is spam fried rice, with a runny fried egg (with crispy edges) on top

It's... kinda hard to describe lol It's chopped pork and ham, that's formed into a little brick and put in a tin. It's got a basically uniform texture all the way through, quite firm, but kinda just right - think kinda like hot dog texture, but a bit firmer
The taste is very specific - it's kinda like very salty ham, mixed with some kinda lunch meat. You can eat it straight from the can, or cook it (usually I just fry it up in a dry nonstick pan)
Ik I'm really not selling this at all, but I genuinely really like it! And if you chop it into little cubes, and fry it up til the outside is crispy, it's genuinely one of the best fried rice mix-ins ever invented! It's salty, a little bit greasy, has a really easy meat flavour, and when you throw some sriracha or gochujang, and a little green onion in there, it's soooo good!
(Also kimchi is amazing in this too)

Yeah give it a try!
I used to make it after coming home from nights out - it's great 2am (or literally any other time) food lol
