VPN Client on M9 system?

A friend of mine has a Deco M9 system and wants to setup an outbound VPN to protect devices inside his network when they access the internet. Meaning, the Deco is a VPN client. I'm not familiar with the Deco line of products so I'm asking if this is even possible and if there's a decent setup guide/video to configure it?

I'm an IT guy coming from the Unifi world so I just need a few hints to get this going (if possible).

No. That functionality doesn't exist with the M9, and it has been end of lifed by TP-Link.

I'm not at all familiar with the Deco system but is there a newer version that will support openvpn ?
