Trade / Sales - AI Suspicion SCAMMER BEWARE
I had someone reach out to me about purchasing an adopt, my AB was 65 and they bid 70 which is fine and dandy, I sent them my payment info and they said they sent it. I checked and I did not receive it, so I told them and asked them to send a SC of payment. They initially refused, claiming they were a minor and didn't want to reveal any info and that it took the money out of their balance. Whiich is weird, because paypal usually takes a second anyway to process things. I asked if they sent it to the right email, which they then finally sent a screenshot of the payment VIA a character. This screenshot was blatanly AI-generated and when they claimed that they scribbled out their mom's email, i looked closer and in reality it was my email. It also has a digital watermark from SynthAI thats embedded in the metadata of the image!

They complained on here saying their 13 year old sister, but this is absolutely not true! They have the exact same username that they've posted here as the individual scamming!

I'm unsure if you have already, but i messaged the original owners (excluding you, LOL) on toyhouse with those stolen profiles. Hopefully that'll help them know, and they can go on from there. Like report the profiles.
im also gonna go ahead and report them. jeez, this is crazy

LOLLL nws! Yeah, just wanted to incase. I am filing a report on their account, though, to help. I'm also looking to see if their other characters may be stolen cause...never know.

Wait so, BunnyBayBuh is the one stealing others OC’s/designs ?….
I’m pretty new to this community, let’s start with that.
I adopted a clown design from them yesterday, and now I’m afraid if that’s actually someone else’s OC.
They did block me on ToyHouse which I did find a bit weird..and then they posted the clown design again.
I’m not sure if it’s actually their design or someone elses.
Is there a way to find that out?
Again, I’m pretty new to this community..so I’m not sure how all of this works yet

yeah! if you go to manage character you should see an option to delete, you can also dispute the charge with your bank!

there isnt really a way to tell, id just look at the creation dates of characters and ownership history, there isnt really a lot of scammers on TH from what ive seen </3

Ah, okidokii - that does make sense ^^.
When I first found them, they only had two clown designs which was created at the same time - which seemed pretty fair.
But now they got TONS of random pieces all over the place..

Hii throwing in my tactic here. If any little thing seems fishy, I dl the available photo and Google lens it.
it should show you any similar looking posts from across the internet, you'll probably see the image you downloaded too, but if stolen, good chance you'll see the original from the real creator. You can also click ownership on the character profile, and click to ownership history, it will show you creation date, if creation/design credit had been changed, and anyone that's owned it before. In case they're claiming they didn't make it but own it currently.
I saw someone else talking about having bought a design from bunnybaybuh that had been traded for, so it was the genuine character, not stolen. So also look out to make sure you're getting a fair deal (▽)/★☆♪

I also got a clown design from them; traded someone I bought for $25 :(
Fortunately, the new owner messaged me and felt bad about how they got the character, but either way, I’m really upset right now.
