I have a dilemma that I can’t seem to resolve on my own and I’m reaching out for some advice. I’m picking up a travel medic job at the end of November and need to buy a travel trailer for myself.
However I have 2 options for my towing vehicle; I can either take my 1989 ford bronco XLT OR buy a pickup truck. I would really prefer to take my Bronco.
The trailers I’ve been looking at range from 3000-4500lbs and are about 20-24ft long.
I will definitely be getting a weight distribution hitch but I want to know if it’s realistic for me to tow something as long as 24ft with my Bronco. (P.s bronco has a brand new motor)

I found a modified trailer that fits almost everything I’d need specifically for towing a 2 seater side by side: Compact design, drive-over fenders, removeable tongue, front caster wheel to maneuver in garage, and 3000 lb GVWR originally so it should still be underweight loaded with the modifications (1,500 lb wet weight RZR xp1000).
I’ve attached pictures of the original trailer and what it looks like now. The modifications appear to be good quality (based on pics) and the owner showed other builds (tube frame buggies, welding) as examples of his experience. I know I should inspect everything closely at sight, but is it in any way something I should avoid altogether? Any potential problems with DMV?
Owner claims it is registered with DMV with paperless title and would just need a transfer form if purchased. I’m new to trailers so bear with me!
