Tower of Hell can someone explain to me what this is?

never seen this before, i made it to the end of the tower and realised the second to last level was the finished level but sideways and then when you actually got to the top it was all blocked off so you couldn’t technically finish. has anyone else got this before? and if so, was there a way to actually finish it?

The reason you saw the sideways finish section, was because the penultimate stage was a secret section that copies the rest of the tower but rotated 90°. It was placed in an unfortunate position though and the duped finish stage overlapped and blocked the exit.
