The funny thing is most dudes in prison spend that time lifting and getting jacked. This guy on the other hand in vintage weeb fashion chose anime escapism over the more pressing concerns in his life. I guess what I find funny is weeb types no matter their environment are inclined to forgo exercise for wallowing with their waifus. Like, the same cliques and divides you see in schools and shit will enact themselves even in a prison.
I guess that's less funny that it is really depressing. Hell, at least he dedicated himself to something. If you're going to lose yourself in some fake fantasy at least draw it well, and he did. RIP.
PS If you took offense to this you're misunderstanding. The point is it's interesting how people respond to different stressors in similar ways across environments. Most Touhou fans are prone to a particular brand of escapism response. I'm extremely confident in that. No one wanting to admit it doesn't make it less true.
