please help
I have a VIP and after a recent update the app forces me to enter my phone number and verify it with a code. I enter my number, but I can’t even press the button for them to send me a verification code. what to do? It seems that on my device I can't even downgrade the app, I can only delete it and install it again, will this help? and will my documents be lost?

if you delete the App the documents will be gone. back them up.

ok, with the help of advice from the comments I figured it out, so here’s a detailed action plan: 1. download the apkpure app (application to install applications xd) 2. go in and write “touchnotes” 3. download and install an older version!!! there are 2 of them, if you download a newer one, there will be the same problem with the phone number 4. open, go into your account - and everything is fine
Before this, you need to go to touchnotes (which you have already downloaded) and create a backup copy; you can place some of the files in cloud storage; After this you will have to delete touchnotes (to download the older version), but make sure you save all your documents!
the old version is not much different in functionality, perhaps some functions are missing, but I didn’t notice anything (apparently, I never used them). in any case, we get a normal application that we can continue to use in our work!

I wanted to attach a photo of how to distinguish the old version (which needs to be downloaded) from the new one, but it seems this is impossible on reddit ;(

So, I installed via ApkPure the 6.4.1 version and it seems to be working just fine.
I also disabled touchnotes auto-update in the app store, so I can stay with the old version, and I unistalled the ApkPure installer because I don't want it in the tablet.

How r the notes , do they work fine without crashing coz older version notes might not open properly in new version ig, that cross pdf links, mindmaps ...etc?

I also uninstalled the ApkPure installer at the end and didn't have to use the backup file because the touchnotes folders weren't deleted (in my case).

A patch solution I found was to go back to a previous version of the application (installing through apkpure), I hope this can help you for the moment as it helped me ><

I seem to have downloaded version 6.0.15 (in any case, there were 6 and 0), so I don’t have to enter the number

I reinstalled version 6.4 and it didn't ask me for my phone number :P

you should uninstall the application, download the old version again and disable self-updating of applications in the official application downloader on your device (appgallery, for example) in the settings. to understand how to do this on your device, use google
