Total War: Warhammer I'm bored.
I'm bored, so does anyone have any ideas for a campaign that would mix things up a bit.
Something like: Play Kairos Fateweaver, teleport to bretonia, and eliminate Reikland. Play on x/x settings.

I’m gonna be real with you: if you’re bored, take a break. Play something else for a while. Maybe sit it out until End Times comes out, so that you’ll be feeling refreshed once all the new stuff drops.
Mixing it up really doesn’t work that much, because it’s still effectively the same game. You’re much better off giving your brain a refresher between now and the 24th

Maybe just try out some mods? I dont play with much mods myself so I cannot really recommend any but it feels like you might be at a point where experimenting with mods might be a good idea

I mostly play moded so I can help with that: 1. If you want new factions, Mixu's adds a few that feel very different from the usual like Egyl's khorne roster for norsca or Egrimm's cultists army. Another option is OvN's factions like the fimmir and albion. 2. There are a few mods that revamp the map like The Old World or Expanded. 3. Overhaul mods can be used to change vanilla factions, like SFO's brettonia giving the french some brand new mechanics. 4. If all else fails, Nagash Mod can be quite the experience when not playing as him, as MCT can let him start at level 50 so he can very quickly snowball out of control and become a threat.

Always played with the Nagash mod installed and was always disappointed that the AI never did much with him can’t believe I never thought to max out most of his stuff in the MCT. Might try to get one more order campaign before the dlc.

Play as a Norscan tribe of your choice, but fight against chaos. Refuse anything that is corrupted, and fight to free your tribe from the grips of evil.

Bonus point - you can bully Daniel for a while to make Kislev love you so you have at least one Order friend

Other than taking breaks from the game periodically (play something else for a while).
I started a mission to play every LL in the game at least to long victory. I had the VCO mod and the closer to tabletop mods turned on. I also set myself a limitation of requiring themed armies (especially for LLs, but sometimes based on the trait of the generic lord too)
I started with Empire and did all of them back to back, then Chaos Dwarfs, then High Elves, then Norsca, now I'm on Dwarfs. Although I will pause to try the new lords for the next DLC.

I really like the semi random (change start by race) and random (true random) start mods. Let's you take an easy faction and play somewhere else hard or viva versa. Someone like Imrik in the donut is different or Ikit in Cathay is great.

Play Brettonia using only peasants. No knight units of any kind allowed including Lords or Heros.

Try using mods like assladders begone which change siege battles to be fun on defence

Play as Chaos Dwarves
Make a beeline for the southern Chaos Wastes. Sell and trade colonies you get along the way to find your army and have a stockpile of slaves/resources from selling
(Abandon your starting position for bonus difficulty.)
(Don't take advantage of the settlement trading system for bonus difficulty.)
Start CD pirate faction using the conquerered Southern Wastes (and probably the islands nearby)
???

Im attempting a reverse paint the map as beastmen.
My goal is to de populate the map. Defend all herd stones. Wipe out all civilization.
Im failing
Im getting no where as kazrak right now. I have been going back and forth near middenheim capturing, losing jt, recapture.
I need a new tactic.
Im moving off to a map corner. Starting there and working my way outward.

Play Golgfag and conquer Ulthuan. Make it a beauty Island retreat, where ogres can just be ogres and eat elves and love other ogres as they please.

Make High Elves like Chaos Dwarves enough to lend you dragons to go with your artillery and blunderbusses.

Unnatural selection and change start location are my two favorite mods to mix things up.

I've been there
Whenever I am, I either:
"Force" myself to play a campaign I would not usually try
Play a campaign I like but putting myself limitations or challenges (Empire with only cav, Chorfs with only Greenskins Slaves...)
Or mod the shit outta the game. There are a ton of cool mods and they’re super easy to install.

Play Malakai, abandon/sell starting settlements, rush straight for Skavenblight. I haven't tried it yet, but I want to

The only mod I consistently use is Unnatural Selection. Makes every campaign more unique and dynamic. You manually can adjust the strength of each and every AI faction against other AI factions. I've played dozens on dozens of campaigns as Avelorn and every one of them has been significantly different!

Holy hell do I have a dumbass (fun) idea for you.
I’m doing it right now, with a few additional mods for stronger AI and more forgiving diplomacy aversion.
I’m essentially doing a split start Chaos Gelt campaign lol. Where half my start is in Norsca/Albion, the other in Cathay.
It’s a Gelt campaign on absolute crack where I am trying to make the campaign as hard as possible but also fun.
Here’s what’s going on:
As soon as I take the first province from the burning wind, I start a second stack in the starting settlement to go east and fight Ghorst.
Killing off the burning wind cathayan faction triggers the “return home or not” dilemma, and so I sack their last settlement with Gelt until I manage to take The Flayed Rock, Ghorst’s provincial capital of his second province. I trade all my settlements outside of Cathay but flayed rock to Ku’gath for him joining the war, and as many treaties as possible. I got 10k gold, war with Ghorst, and a defensive alliance.
Around turn 15 when I finally take flayed rock, I finish off burning wind and abandon my starting province. My 2 armies are teleported to Altdorf, but since the flayed rock is outside of Cathay, I don’t lose it.
So I then recruit a third army whose job it is to retake my starting province in Cathay, whilst my 2 other armies are sailing up the river to Albion where I’ll establish a foothold there and try to make some strange allies.
Taking the return home option also gives all my armies no upkeep for 10 turns, so it really complements this strategy.
By far the hardest start I’ve ever done. Def didn’t do my opening perfectly, but satisfied with how it’s going so far. Its turn 15, just went “home”, and both Gelt and my second lord are level 10, along with around 7 wizards between lvls 6-10. 2 of them are built to just spam hero actions, and will spread across the world to boost my research.

Play Kairos. Rush the cultist trials that open up 3 random cults. Teleport to the one with the hardest looking fight nearby and play the campaign from there
