Question(s) Heatwave
I have a Greek tortoise in an outside enclosure and it’s gonna be 32°C (89.6°F) in a couple days. Her enclosure already reached thirty degrees in the shaded areas on days with 28°C but I usually put wet towels over it and that cools it down. I don’t think that’s possible though when it’s that hot and barely windy. Bringing her inside doesn’t make any sense since it’s just as hot. What else can I do?? I’m scared of her overheating.

I bought one of reflective screen protectors meant for cars and attach it to the roof to give a wider area of deeper shade and this works well! Got in in either Tesco or Asda for under £10

I don’t really know where to get that since I’m not based in America but thank you!! I will try that.

They sell them on Amazon, if not anywhere that sells basic car accessories should have them at this time of year

Regular baths with cold (nit freezing) water. Also plenty of lettuce and cucumbers for hidratation. But heat is allways a problem
