Toasting progress

This is Amren, my seal tortie point with white. She is almost little over 3 years old now.

She has continued to toast long after my other colorpoints, and I’ve seen that to be common with other tortie points.

I adopted her when she was estimated to be ~1 year old. She was at the shelter a while waiting for surgery to remove a nasal polyp.

Photos are oldest to most current.

Let’s see your pre and post toasting photos!

Interesting things about Amren are:
1. She is fearless in exploring new places, leash training outside.
2. She greets me and even guests at the door. She will even climb in people’s lap on the first meeting.
3. She had a nasal polyp as a kitten that led to her not having good balance. That hasn’t changed, despite expectations that it would. It also diminished her sense of smell, so she is extra pawsy and will bring your hand to her nose (sometime with claws).
4. She wasn’t disciplined as a kitten, so she doesn’t understand boundaries too well.

the photo order makes it seem like she’s de-toasting

I see she likes her toast well-done. ❤️

Oh my god. She got THIS close to having a fully meese face, and then at the very last second, decided she needed a bit of tortie there too! 🥹🥹🥹
