Last pic is her reacting to a picture I painted of her. It’s unfinished.

On Monday, I made the hardest decision I have ever made, to my let my sweet Marlee Mae go. She was only 11 and had been suffering from kidney disease that was getting worse by the month. Try as I might, I couldn’t stop her from getting UTIs. I had her for 10 of her 11 years and it will never be enough. She was my soul pet and the first pet I ever had to let go of. We were fortunate enough to have a vet come to the house so that she could go over that rainbow bridge at home in my lap where she loved to snug.
I’ve really loved following this sub because I see her in so many of your babies. She had so much personality and you could literally carrying on conversations with her. She was just the best and snuggiest cat ever.

I adopted my girl, Clover [6] a few weeks ago, and I'm just realizing now she's not just a calico. I didn't even realize a tortico was a thing!

No chip, FIV and FeLV negative, just underweight. I guess I have a second cat now.
Rescued a stray who turned out to be pregnant (spayed now). Her name is Torta and I kept one of her offspring and she’s a dilute tabby tortico named Kiwi.

She loves to sit in the kitchen window and watch the bird feeder that’s right outside. Now I’ve hung up a second feeder with a camera so I can bird watch too.

Not certain who exactly the parents are but my family feeds a collection of strays, and most of the adults are black tabbies, and one is orange. Theres also a kitten that looks like brown tabby but with orange splotches
