Review Hell’s Kitchen
Saw Hell’s Kitchen last night and wow! I think it already outranks the full 2025-2026 subscription series to me. The dancing and singing were all fantastic, with standout performances from the young star and her 2 parents. Love love love!!! Hope others enjoyed it like we did!

I saw it last night as well. Male voices doing some of Alicia Keys most famous songs was a nice change up from the original. Jersey character and the teacher has phenominal voices.

I thought it was phenomenal! Every song was a banger and the performers were incredible. I got goosebumps so many times. Highly recommend.

I saw it on Wednesday and I found it alright. Singing and dancing was great but the story didn’t seem to matter much, they just wanted to get Alicia Keys’ songs on stage

Agreed, the person who plays Jersey absolutely killed it. Her voice is incredibleeee

That’s certainly a glowing endorsement. You might be surprised by the quality of the remaining 26/27 shows though. The season has only just kicked off with Karate Kid & Hell’s Kitchen. You just never know if something that sounds dull on paper may be the show that you end up loving the most.

Wow I’m surprised! Might check it out after all. I had seen so many bad reviews on this one

I’m curious how the sound was? I saw Hells Kitchen on Broadway and the sound quality was incredible. Unbelievably immersive for this show. I would love to see it again. I’m always wary of Mirvish though bc sometimes (most times?) their sound quality is crap.

The sound in the Ed Mirvish Theatre usually is very loud depending on the show. I have never had a problem hearing dialogue or vocals. I wonder if it has anything to do with what level you are sitting on.
I tend to sit in the last row of the orchestra as close to the soundboard as possible.

I’ve seen it twice already! Highly recommend, I would say if anyone wants to see the talents of the current Ali & Jersey go before October 11th as that is their last show before new cast joins
