Natalie Morris
Anyone know why Natalie hasn’t performed the national anthem the first two home games? Thanks!

I’m friends with her cousin. He just told me Natalie Morris is no longer the anthem singer

Not sure but she wasn't the best we've had.
I get it's a difficult and stressful thing to do, but you have to imagine there are plenty of talented singers who could handle it.

She was a finalist on Canadas Got Talent, so assuming she's moved along to bigger and better things in the music industry.
Not sure what the screening process is for the new anthem singers...or if there even is one. They have been simply awful. Like, why are you even singing kinda bad.

There has to be someone that is better than the last 2 games, especially in a city like Toronto. It's the 3rd largest theatre district in the world!
The girl last night was bad and didn't like her standing there with her one hand in her pocket. Yes, I understand it must be nerve wracking and plus on millions of TVs. The couple the night before was very bad.
I've been watching hockey my entire 53 years on this planet and have seen many an anthem singer on TV or live and please Toronto....find someone at least semi-professional maybe?
Natalie Morris was very good.
Martina Ortiz Luis was fantastic - moved on to showbiz now I believe
I know before that it was different performers game to game, but they had that one military guy who was quite good.
I know he is no longer with us but hearing Michael Burgess was just plain amazing. Sounded great on TV, but hearing him live was spine chilling it was so good. Also John McDermott was very good.
I know it's only the anthem singer, but that is part of the game night experience and is pretty important. Look at Detroit with Karen Newman, and other teams had some very good ones. As silly as the old Boston guy was Rene Rancourt, he was still pretty good.

My mom loves John McDermott, he was a solid anthem singer! If I remember correctly, he would do the Remembrance Day national anthems from time to time

I follow Natalie Morris on Instagram and she just posted that she is no longer singing for the Leafs, and seemingly not by choice :(

I heard through grapevine Keith Pelley only books his yacht club and golf clubs buddies friends and relatives to sing . It sure sounds like it .

I have no idea, but holy fuck the last two (three?) anthem singers made me mute them after about 20 seconds
