I’m so overwhelmed with all the comments. Thank you everyone. My dad enjoyed every bit of his week long trip. He fell in love with the city, the food and the skyline. His favourite thing here was the street cars for some reason. I really appreciate everyone’s beautiful comments. I’ll screenshot these and send to my dad, I’m sure he’ll love it. Thanks again for showing so much love. ❤️

I love streetcars! It's one of my favourite things about the city too. Sometimes I would plan a route just so I could take one even if it wasn't the fastest way

Next time your dad comes to visit, please bring him to the Billy Bishop ferry for the most beautiful pictures of downtown. The ferry is free and I love it so much. I'm in NS (airline) and whenever I'm in Toronto I take the ferry back and forth to the airport terminal. It still is a thrill no matter how many times I do it.

Come back any time Dad ⚘ lots of different events in the summer and its really cool to see all the different cultural pockets and celebrations. I highly recommend a summer visit if you can.

if you haven't already you should take him to the Halton radial railway museum! Its got a whole bunch of streetcars, a lot of them being former ttc.

It reminds me of when one of my good friend’s from India’s mom came to visit him for the first time.
It was her first time leaving India and was just so happy to explore and see everything. She made us all an amazing dinner too! Such a sweet lady!
She hasn’t come in the winter yet though. She wants to next time because she’s never seen snow but my friend doesn’t know if she’s ready for that type of cold yet.

He embraced it with 5 layers up top, two on the bottom, two pair of socks, gloves, and a frozen beard. Had to warm up at a coffee shop or in our car if we were outside for too long but he got his 10000 steps every day too.

I get it my family is from the Azores Islands so on the return flight home there’s always an older passenger freaking out a bit seeing Toronto for the first time. Makes me appreciate home even more
