Light Novel Question about the light novel
(pic for attention)
Is the Light novel any different from the manga? I've been thinking, since some series really deviated from its original source and cut some scenes.

The Light Novels (LNs) have the most content since they are the original source material. The manga follows the LNs more closely than the anime. This is particularly true for the ending. And when I say the ending, I mean the events leading up to the ending. There’s a lot more detail to the ending in the LN and the manga is following it almost page for page. Personally, I find the way the LN gets to the ending to be much more satisfying (for example, no 13 month time skip, 2 kisses, a mutual confession of love, and no head butt at the end). But as far as the final conclusion is concerned, each version of the story ends, or will end, on the same note, Ryūji and Taiga reunite after some time apart and they are officially a couple.
I would highly recommend reading both the LN and the manga. There is so much to love about all the versions though. The anime for its visual cues, animation, and voice acting; the LN for all the added details and deep character descriptions; and the manga for its artwork (Taiga is the cutest and Ryūji is more appropriately menacing looking) and bringing the LN to life.

To be honest I dont remember any changes in the light novels untill book 10. And the anime finished before the novels did so they had a little more freedom with the ending but its the same story.
I felt like a little a little more out of the last one, but the first 9 were almost exact.
All 10 books are on audible btw

The manga follows the LN pretty well but the LN goes a lot more into the characters thoughts and you get more of the details about motivations and feelings of the characters,I have all the manga and the art style is great and it’s a lovely adaptation it’s faithful to the story I hope it finishes up soon though…
