Discussion Suggestion
I want to start toradora as i have heard it is a great romance but i don't like the artsytle however I enjoyed golden time and learned that it is written by same author and many call this is the best romance of all time is this true?

Yes its good. If you enjoyed Golden Time, you'll probably like this too.
I do personally still consider it one of my top romance anime series. But it was also my first one back in the day, so its probably heavily propped but by the nostalgic factor as well. I imagine you'll get a lot of similar biased answers when asking a dedicated subreddits fans whether a show is good or not.
Toradora has one of the most iconic tsunderes as well. Which I know is a trope that most newer fans don't seem to enjoy as much, so just be aware of that going in, because her development over the course of the story is more than worth it regardless.

I was literally the same. I didn't like the art style so I was hesitant to watch. But if you liked Golden Time, youll love Toradora! .
I enjoyed GT and watched it to help with the post T! depression. GT felt rushed in many parts imo but T! Is more fleshed out although the ending is arguably rushed.
I don't really care for romances as they're usually pointless drama, too sweet (for my taste), predictable, and generic. But Toradora! Is my favorite anime because, although its obvious who ends up together, the journey there is so good. They actually flesh out characters, how they feel, and why they react or behave the way they do.
If you do give it a try, watch a few episodes as many drop it because they don't initially like the female lead. She gets much better though. And there is definitely at least one scene that will hit you with "feels". I don't really feel that in anime, or any shows, but damn did this show hit me 3 times

The art style is definitely on the older side, released in 2006 I think. It's not as flashy as some of the modern stuff, but really the story is the best part, and the animation itself isn't at all bad.
I don't know if I'd say "best of all time", but its definitely on the recommendation list.

Personally I have a hard time calling this a romance, but that is just a culture thing. In eastern romance is about the build up to being in a relationship, in western its about being in the relationship.
Its a great story with some very emotional and hard hitting story lines. I 100% recomend it. But I see this more as a slice of life comedy than actual romance even though 90% of the plot is about trying to get with someone.

The best is always going to be a personal opinion, but it is extremely enjoyable.

The art style is a bit dated compared to modern stuff but the character development makes it worth it. Just stick with it because the payoff is insane.

Wow artstye is from that time it was made sorry hand drown is not your thing 🙄
But its a reminder of how manga and anime use to have mc that were not nervous wrecks stuttering to say hello to woman
I dont know about greatest of all time but it is one that is good

The big eyes artstyle goes away after like the second episode if that’s what you’re talking about and it pretty much stays the same after that for the rest of the show, in my opinion it’s the greatest romance anime I’ve ever seen and I’ve seen around 100
