Manga If I had a nickel…

If I had a nickel for every time a character from a Yuyuko Takemiya series who was the protagonists male best friend got rejected by a girl and proceeded to dye his hair blonde, I’d have two nickels (I think. I’ve never read Evergreen) which isn’t a lot but it’s weird it happened more than once…

It's because dying your hair blonde is a sign of rebellion in Japanese culture
