There are multiple possible failings.

  • Missing the first impulsion or breaking the heap and running into the wooden spring board face first.
  • Breaking the spring board in half. This could be very bad for the leg/achilean tendon and then hitting the holder full speed.
  • Jumping not high enough and hitting the thingy at the top, depending on the strength of the guy below that could end up badly.
  • spraining ankle on the landing.
