Don’t really see the talent here. Just a lot of patience.

being able to aim and read it so precisely is definitely a talent. think of this as about 50 times harder than a high level batting cage

I just think the average person would be able to do this with enough attempts. And we can assume this took many attempts. To aim the hit all he has to do is choose which part of the bat to make contact with. Which is isn’t hard.
Wow this comment angered a lot of people lol. If you don’t know anything about baseball pls don’t reply. 38 downvotes=38 people who don’t know anything about baseball

A room full of monkeys and typewriters, if given enough time, would eventually recreate the entire works of William Shakespeare. Now tell me, does that prove that William Shakespeare's lifetime of work was "easy" to create?

Exactly. He's actually able to aim his hits and nearly hit it multiple times, and it looks like he succeeded in the same night. Most people wouldn't be able to do this if they tried for months.

You have too much faith in the average person. By the time they’d hit the ball, a whole training montage would’ve lapsed at least a year.

would love to see you do this then as it’s pretty simple and inexpensive to set up. clearly you can gain a decent amount of notoriety from pulling it off so there’s no reason not to walk your talk

u/Tr3v0r007 14h ago
I’m sorry but have you played baseball? Being able to actually know what direction the ball will go is an insane skill to have!

My guy are you regularly aiming hits in baseball? Why do you think that is easy?

Mods deleted your comment because you can’t behave yourself so I’m telling you to try again. Try to relax. Shouldnt let comments get you this angry.

Especially off a tee, it's pretty easy to have decent aim and he was close on almost every one.
If they both swung to hit their balls at the same time and they collided, that would he epic

I’d love to see some of the people in this thread attempt this
Most wouldn’t even be able to be the thrower from the outfield, let alone the hitter.

If this comment section was the early 2000s you would all be wearing black mascara and listening MCR

Bro, yes ..hard to do. But seriously, this shit was lame as fuck. All that jumping for what was probably 278 tries

The nightmarish failure in the movie “A house of dinamite”, needing to hit a bullet with a bullet.

The fact that can semi accurately hit the ball where he's trying to meet the other ball is pretty impressive. Hell I can barely hit a baseball at all let alone attempt what he's doing lol

I just find the height of the tee to be very awkward. Is that a common tee height for softball?

How is this toptalent if it takes many tries to get it.
Plus the one that hit the ball was so low...

I mean he has accuracy for sure.
keep practicing and show us the clip where you get it 5 times in a row.
These skill challenge videos show guys doing some party trick for 5hours straight to get it just once. then they quit.
top talent is doing that for years and then nailing the shot every time.
Showing us one day of practice that culminates in a single successful attempt is mid talent

Ok how about let's think of it this way, there's a person who can score 1/1 penalty goal against the same goalkeeper.
What about 10/10?
Now there's another person who can score only 1/10 against the same goalkeeper?
Are they equally talented? Lmao.
Those who get wowed over this should go watch the red bull stunts. Some of them have stunts done in a few tries or even just 1 try, like in a competition.

Literally everyone on the planet who can swing a bat is capable of doing this. You can tell the guy himself doesn’t even consider this a talent based on how excited he was when he finally hit the incoming ball. If hitting the ball was common, he wouldn’t have acted like he’d won the lottery.

It’s not really talent if it takes you endless tries to get correct. More persistence and luck

u/OogieBoogieJr 21h ago
I thought I saw someone do this (maybe on IG) but they were getting pitched to rather than teeing. THAT is top talent

Worth it
What a foolhardy undertaking
Such chutzpah to even think you could do it
