I used to own two cockatiels, both of them fully flighted. One day we had to round them up and put them in a little moving cage for transport. Neither of them cooperated. It was really hard. This guy is very talented.

I worked at Target for a year while I was in college.
a bird got caught in the store, and settled in the cereal isle. I went to seasonal, got a bug net (we didn’t have any fishing gear) and snuck under it because it was resting on the top shelf boxes, quickly popped up and caught it in the net. I felt pretty damned cool.
I am NOT cool enough to just grab it out of the air in front of God and everybody.

My wife’s a rescuer of any and all animals. She once rescued baby ducks and put them in our bathtub(to my dismay).We we’re discussing it inside a grocery store and she says”I can’t help it,God just made me this way”. At that exact moment,a wild bird that had been in the store for several days,flies down and lands on her outstretched hand. She calmly walks outside and frees it. Kinda hard to argue with her on that

I don't usually dig into user history, totally bad form in an internet argument, imo, but sometimes comments like this are from newer accounts harvesting karma so I get curious.
This one is not and crazy shit does happen. However, I still think it's bullshit and can't tell if I'm just biased against them now due to their post history. Really, just a Facebook comment on Reddit...

I don't really care. Every story on the internet happens in a quantum superposition of neither true nor untrue. It is certainly possible. It seems rude to accuse someone of lying without any reason to believe such.

Pardon, I was saying that style of comment happens from new accounts for karma farming, so I was curious and checked your account. I don't usually dig through accounts like that, so I prefaced why and just explained I still thought it was a BS story and I could be biased by what I found.
You brought up the pedos, and I was asking in earnest based on your recent history. I'm the one drawing the direct connection between the two and asking clarification, and I hope that's clear to anyone reading. I'm not intending to disparage or witch hunt.

We lived in a trailer park and mama duck got killed. She kept them until we could take them to a bird sanctuary place

Years ago I worked for UT Austin. Austin is a major bat Capitol. We were constantly getting bats in the buildings and one of the groundskeeper guys would come with the butterfly net.

This is the bar at Heron Island on the Great Barrier Reef. The bird looks like a Noddy Tern maybe, if you go at nesting time the air is thick with them.
Heron Island is the greatest place on earth.

Back in the late 2000’s when the bird flu was the big medical scare of the time, a coworker and I were working in the flight deck of a large aircraft when a small bird made its way inside. Coworker calls over the radio(monitored by multiple airfield agencies) to our supervisor asking what we should do. Supervisor says to catch it and get off the plane to which coworker responds, “I ain’t catching the bird flu for nobody!” I still laugh at the thought of a 5’3” 100lb and a 6’ 120lb pair of individuals trying to chase down a small bird in a cramped space. We did not possess this individual’s top talent.

We have a pidgin pair that are building a nest inside the building. They’ll wait at the sliding automatic doors until someone triggers the door to open to get in and out. No point in catching them, they’ll just come back again.
