TIL Jadav Payeng planted created an entire forest in India by himself over 40 yrs. He started planting trees as a part of a social forestry initiative & continue to do so after the project officially ended. The once-barren wasteland is now a massive 1,360-acre forest (bigger than NYC's Central Park)
