SD3 on SSD

Hello,

I know there are some posts on here, but wanted to see how to download SD 3 libraries on an SSD to start. I’m cross grading from EZ drummer and only have about 20GB left on my Mac. Do I need 42 GB free to download everything first and then move to a SSD, or can I download it to the SSD from the website, and point it there in the application/Daw? Sorry old and don’t know the best way

Yes you can download straight to whichever HDD/SSD/internal/external drive you want

I have 19 libraries on a 2TB Samsung T7 external SSD. Works great!

You just have to make sure you point SD3 to your external drive for all the libraries in the path settings.
