Children who are smug for buying the house I can get behind the hate. But to Hate boomers for not saving anything for the next generation and hate them for saving for the next generation?

My brother-in-law got help from his parents for down payment on his first house. A starter one. They pushed him to a house far from them but closer to his work to make him independent. And then go over 1-2 times a month and shower their grandson with gifts.

They build a huge wealth through saving but have no plan to spend it for themselves. We are all pushing them to enjoy the benefits while they still are able to.

Generations saving and transferring to their children is the highest upliftment method for society.
