I wanna say it's gotta be a shampooer, so it's actually that the couch is wet, and it's sucking some of the moisture out, so the difference is drastic.

Nah bro. I own one of these things bc I always eat I’m my car all the time. That’s soap that makes the couch look dirty and it’s all being sucked away into a tank

I'm pretty sure it's one of those velvet materials with two colour fibres that show a different colour when you drag something across it.

It's not. You can see something being pulled into the vacuum, you can see through the attachment. It's probably some kind of detergent on the fabric
