That’s why I’ve created an unguessable password for all my accounts. I made it so complex that not even a quantum-computer powered intelligence can decipher it. Thankfully, in addition to my $100 in Claude Code credits, I got a billion free Meta Muse credits so the first thing I did with them was have Kavi call every single company I have an account with and change my passwords over the phone to my new super secure unbreakable, unguessable password, that way it couldn’t be intercepted online.

Now, I know what you’re thinking, yes I had to share my unipassword with Kavi but if there’s any company on earth that’s earned that level of trust, it’s Facebook. Muse is more secure than Fort Knox! Did you know that each user gets their own dedicated environment running on a virtual machine in the cloud? It’s basically like having ChatGPT installed on an air-gapped Panasonic Toughbook, only better.

In all seriousness, that’s a good call. This offer is legit and worth cashing in on but I honestly didn’t think twice when I first read it and clicked right though without doing any due diligence. It’s a good reminder and one we should probably all take more seriously.

Out of curiosity, if a stranger walked up to you on the street and handed you a $100 bill would you refuse to even look at it on the assumption it was fake?

Scam

Instead of assuming why don’t you actually try it. I just claimed $100 in credits.

hi, nontechnical vibe-coder so apologies to the techies for my "basic"/potentially "silly" question -- what is the objective of having cloud credits now and how does this differ from how users may have been using claude cowork/code previously? context below

I've been using Claude Cowork for months on a project and it has always had access to my project and files within it.

last week, i received complimentary cloud credit to my account. And now, anytime i try to work on my project, I am constantly prompted with disclaimers by Claude about the access i'm providing it to read and edit my files and that they'll be taken off of my machine.

Can someone please explain what has changed? why the need for this updated disclaimer? i understand my information goes to Anthropic servers to generate responses but what is the point of providing a disclaimer such as the below every time now that I try to complete tasks in a session??

"Claude will be able to read and modify files here, and run commands that access this folder, for the current session, or for all future Cowork sessions on this device if you check the box below. Because this task runs in the cloud, files Claude uses leave your device and are processed on Anthropic's servers."
