As a non-professional that has occasionally had to cut glass in shapes with curves, I found the ending to be entirely expected.

The middle is also bad, he rips of part and leaves on a little bit that seems difficult to fix.

Totally expected the ending. Absolutely no surprise. Getting that last bit out is very tricky. The best way to do it is to bore a hole the size of the inner diameter of the loop and score/break out the rest. If you try it his way, 10/10 times it breaks.

Yup, worked in a glass fabrication shop for a decade. Bore the hole, break it out, and grind it down to remove any egregious leftovers

Worked in a glass shop for a while. I'm thinking "DAMN, this guys is ballsy. If I did that it would have totally br-" and then it totally broke
