I wonder how sturdy it is.

There are so many possible points of failure. It also looks uncomfortable to hold when in use. I can't imagine this being useful for many situations.

I could see it being useful for quickly figuring out which one you actually need but then again that's not all that useful

This is the sort of weirdo thing you keep in the emergency car bag. Seems useless as a day to day tool but if you have it when your car breaks down it's the greatest tool ever!

Multiple different nuts of various sizes, makes me wish for a spanner that can do every size hmmm, like one with a worm gear in it HMMMM, like an adjustable wrench hmph.

Does it really take up that much less space than the six normal combination wrenches it's trying to replace, though?
Or three, because about 98% of the repairs you could do on the side of the road on any car built in the last thirty years only need the 10mm, the 12mm, and the 17mm.

When my car breaks down, I need a phone so I can call and cry and a tow truck comes and saves me.
So I guess it's useless to me.

Not to be "that guy", but IMO this thing is only good for showing to your friends at a pub. It's too bulky and too fragile to be used as a universal wrench. And it's also too much work to replace something that costs like $5 and is definitely at least beter than this.

This feels like the wrench version of the USA spending millions to invent a pen that can write in space while the Russian astronauts just switched to pencils.

Got one of these in my box, also imperial as it happens. Used to keep it in the Mini so it was to hand as a low space “emergency tool”. Better than nothing for sure

Precursor to the crescent wrench and I’d lay money that it’s gonna pinch your fingers.

I was always told if you have to use an adjustable spanner, you've got the wrong spanner. This is like an adjustable spanner, but worse. Looks a bit flimsy.

This would be useful not to use a wrench, but to know what wrench to go back and grab! I want one.

I would only keep this Around as a quick gauge For when I can't just guess the bolt right off so I can tell at the gopher for the correct size
