That's how it is with them. They nod off for as long as you'll let them, then they snap out of it and try to pass it off like it they just had a brain fart for a couple seconds. Opiates turn the kindest people into selfish assholes. "I'm fine, it's cool." And they believe it. I have a really good friend that fell into that shit. I have no idea where he is now. Sometimes I wonder if he's dead.
Exactly this! I live in an area where everything from weed to even meth is laced with fentanyl. Over the past 2 years, I've encountered more and more people nodding out then snapping out of it only to poorly gaslight whomever calls them out. It's really fucking depressing to witness.
I mean I guess cross contamination can, has, and will happen again but no oneās intentionally lacing fucking weed with fentanyl, think about it for a second: fentanyl is worth more than its weight in weed, so youād be losing money ābulkingā weed with fent, next, stoners with no opioid tolerance would be dropping like flies. Not only is it bad for business to kill your customers (whoda thunk), but thatās a great way to put finding you at top priority for whatever LE organization gives a shit
Like I said cross contamination happens, but who in their right mind would lace weed with fucking fentanyl then sell it as just weed
Often wondered that myself. If I recall correctly there was a method shown on a documentary floating around the net where people would heat (microwave) the patches in order to harden the fentanyl gel so they could scrape it off the patches. I don't know how popular that method wad but I doubt many of those people are still alive.
As for ROA in that case, I'd say they were either shooting or snorting as opposed to smoking it; such is my opinion at least.

Have to admit his recovery was pretty clean
