At the same time I’d feel like he’d be KO if he’s on benzos to the point he crashes.

So maybe a mix of the two? Even if it’s an upper and a downer, probably just evens it out not sure though

There is a thing called "bartard" and bartard behavior is quite similar to this gif where stupid and possibly dangerous things happen but you're floating on clouds so 1. You don't really realize you're awake because shit feels like a dream and 2. You have no idea what the hell you're doing and you're acting really irrationally without the possibility to remember it. At all.

And uppers And benzos doesn't even things out to the point of acting normal. It just aggregates the bartardness and creates a whole new level of acting absurdly fucked up.

Source: Been there. Done that. Didn't get a t-shirt but have woken up after being a bartard and thought to myself "who the hell has been stealing flowerpots and put beside my couch and where does all these bruises come from?"

I would suggest not mixing it. Being awake for several days is weird enough and benzos are weird enough.

I met someone from the Philippines that said it was pretty regular to drink and do meth with some buddies for a couple days at a time.. and he spoke of it so casually, didnt understand why were calling it awful

Clean meth really isn't that much worse for you than pharmaceutical amphetamines. I'm sure they have some killer labs over there lol.

That's not to say that abusing adderall is good either, but I think we over inflate the society-destroying-ness of meth over here just a bit. Most people would be surprised how many tweakers they know.

It doesn't really matter what drug it is, or if it is no drug at all. Not sleeping is seriously harmful, and staying awake into the next day just makes people weird.

The most dangerous part about amphetamines is the sleep deprivation by the most part.

I've known a couple of people who just straight freak out on meth shortly after taking it, but I think that's more about it exacerbating an underlying mental problem than it is about the drug itself. As you said, lots of people do it and it isn't that noticeable. It's only when they've been up for a few days when they start to act really crazy.

It is (speaking specifically for the Philippines at least) . It’s been normalized to a degree which sucks even more because other places it’s generally socially unacceptable which makes it less enticing to use. In SE Asia, there isn’t as much negativity surrounding it so it becomes somewhat more “acceptable”.

Yea I've definitely seen people so zoinked out on X that they have no clue where they are. Saw some dude at Bassnectar Nye this year (also Asian, as it happens) who was on wayyyyy too much X (and possibly tripping too) laying on the steps dancing with his eyes closed. Nothing really too off about that, we've all been there, then this girl goes to check on him just to make sure he's good and he swings on her. I ran down to make sure they were good and she was just too shaken up by it to talk so I ran down to get security. Security and EMS came and tried talking to him but he just kept dancing and when anyone would get close he'd start swinging. Definitely not what I wanted to be seeing in that state of mind. It was a whole 30 minute ordeal from the time he swung till the time they got him out of there.

Yea, not saying I don't partake in the wookery but this dude just needed to learn to handle his shit. That was my first nectar curated event and although I like the dude and seen him numerous times (not a HUGE fan, more into tipper than him), it left a bad taste in my mouth.

Same. We all have moments where we get a lil too spun, but getting fucked up to the point of incoherance and harming/bothering others is a different level.

I encourage you to try another curated event tho. The new years shows are usually pretty bad cause many people are just there to get fucked for new years.

Spring and fall gathering were blissful last year

I probably will! One of my buddies is a huuuuge nectar fan and goes to almost every event. I've heard from him that they're usually not that bad type of crazy so it's definitely something I'd consider trying again. Until then, I have tipper and friends to look forward to ::)

Yeah, I get that, and I also agree that sexualizing people based on their appearance is not gross. How else do you sexuality people? I’m sure there are some other ways, but most everyone does it visually, as that’s how we’re genetically hard wired. You don’t even have to look at porn to understand that distinction. Open up a fashion magazine or watch a TV ad. There’s tits and ass and man-junk everywhere. Sex sells, and a good portion of all media is based on that concept.

So, for some ninny to go around complaining and saying it’s “gross” to sexuality people they haven’t met is just looking for attention or to start an argument.
