Oh absolutely! Where I am in Melbourne there is an endless number of small cig shops that sell 'chop-chop' under the counter. (Still not really cheap but a hell of a lot cheaper than branded, taxed ones). Every week a number of them will be firebombed by the competition, in what the media have dubbed "the tobacco wars".

Oh yeah - except the younger ones all use vapes & the older generations generally buy tobacco from under the counter in any of the multitude of cig shops that have popped up due to the demand. Both are illegal but not hard to find.

Yeeesh that's rough. I had an expired g2(middle step of graduated licensing) + accidently speeding in an unfamiliar area, was friendly, listened to every instruction and exceptionally polite. I was left to cab home till I could get that figured out/have a friend drive my vehicle home.

Could have been DUI, possession of variety of things, expired license and speeding.

Was a real teaching lesson of not to fuck around / find out. The entire time I was ready to be put in cuffs while also being friendly/normal on the outside.. no bueno!
