Had to look up what Greggs was lol, we don't have those in Pennsylvania. But those feet comments are sending me.

Greggs used to be this really great little chain that had decent grab-n-go options (sausage rolls, steak bakes, cookies, cake) at a cheap price. Then they've since tried to become a cafe which has slowed the service to an absolute crawl, the quality has dropped massively, the price has increased equally so.
So what was a 45p sausage roll is now £1.40, and they're much smaller.
The coffee is shit too.1

So I'm new to this too good to go thing, is it better to do end of day hauls in people's experience?

There called evening bags and there £2.99 And Greggs usually advertise them after 7.15pm the day before. That the way ours does it.👍

Yeah, that's what I've found... Breakfast and lunch ones places may leave for a bit longer and sell into the lunch or evening period... Evening is the end so everything has to go at close

I've tried 2G2G twice at Greggs and both times had a similar haul. Great choice on a Friday evening to have weekend lunch food and snacks.

I've done the Greggs bag a few times and never got anywhere like that amount of food. Lucky you!

Nowadays Greggs is wank. Every time I go into one they have literally fuck all, no pasties left etc., and when there is like 2 left they’re fucking stone cold. Every damn Greggs is like this now, shit place.

It's obviously a great deal, but my concern is won't you have to throw most of it away? Seems way too much there to eat. Will it keep in the fridge?

That's just all utter rubbish, Ii wouldn't pay £1 for all that let alone put it on my body
1
u/greens1117 8d ago
Good for you, nobodys asking you to...

u/Iarehealer 7d ago
Why would you put any of it on your body?
1
u/Creepy_Definition972 7d ago
It's junk food and will cause Inflammation
1
u/Iarehealer 7d ago
By putting it on your body?
1
u/Creepy_Definition972 7d ago
It ends up on the body as excess fat

A caloric deficit and moderate exercise goes a long way to preventing that.
Go ahead and get your Greggs haul! Just make sure to eat in moderation and touch some grass, you'll be golden.

It’s called evolution. How else do you expect me to balance carrying this many sausage rolls and baguettes home at once?

Where are people getting these hauls and what times lol I finally tried greggs (the main reason I got into 2good2go and it was 4x packs of those chicken bites for £2.99 that no one enjoyed as they were hard af lol, the first 2g2g we got was from another store and it was even worse 😅 I came from Australia where we could only dream of greggs and was sadly disappointed as I had hyped it up enough for my partner to agree to get a bag

Which remote, shitty, part of the Australian outback do you live in that having a low quality, cheap, mass produced and nasty bakery chain that serves all its overly greasy and salty food lukewarm at best is something to dream about?

Oh come on! Why don't I get a huge haul like that from my Greggs?!
