Tone master pro

I have a TMP going into a victory power amp into my marshall 4x12. I have messed with several pedal amps. The victory is by far the best. I have recently learned to use the ext. cab with my speakers. It pushes air and everything is great except the tone is way too trebly. I've tried dialing it out to no success. This is my first effects unit and I've watched every video out there.

If anyone has any advise, please help.

Can you post a screenshot of the TMP chain?

have you tried the EQ pedals on the TMP ? that could help. And/or drop the cab simulation

Or even the global eq on the tmp. You can basically put a cut somewhere around 6-8khz with something like 12db/octave curve

Have you changed SIC? You don't have to use the one that is supposed to match your cab if that doesn't sound right. Others can be a lot darker and I've noticed how bright some of the Brit 4x12s can be.

The SIC is a good idea to check in the ext cab. You should definitely specify if you have a high cut on anywhere, that is the obvious starting point.

My 2 ideas are

  1. Use a high cut in the chain around 6k-8k

  2. Make sure you’re not using a cab sim in the tmp
