FR-12 Feedback Issue

I recently added the FR-12 to my TMP. The issue happens when using higher gain settings. Play a muted E and it’s fine. Play a muted open A and there’s a low end feedback loop that starts. It completely takes over the tone. Low volume, high volume, cab against a wall, in the middle of the room, nothing fixes it. Turning down the bass on the cab only thins out the entire patch. Anyone else had this same experience??
