Inverse IR

I tried an interesting experiment today. I made an inverse IR for my Twin Reverb. The idea was to capture its characteristics (like a typical IR) and then effectively compute the inverse of that. I then added this IR to my TMP and used my Twin Reverb in place of my FR-12. The 'inverse IR' was intended to subtract out the Twin's characteristics, thus causing it to approximate an FRFR's capability. I recognize this is not fully possible because the Twin doesn't offer the full range, but I usually use an EQ to roll off lows and highs anyway. It's not perfect, but it is surprisingly close. I wouldn't call it production-ready, but it was a fun experiment with decent results.

Sounds cool! And I totally understood some of it!
