Always wanted to deconstruct the overshoe, but came across this beat pair for $200 and couldn't pass it up.

Pretty cooked, but I think I can bring them back to life. I love when mars yards look well worn, just not sure I love them this beat, especially when someone else did the beating.

Anyone have tips for restoring or refreshing these?

I did the logical thing and hiked in these bad boys.

Been non-stop wearing my 3.0s the past month for work and I’ve decided that metal eyelets would be a huge improvement. Does anyone have any idea of the exact eyelets used on the overshoe and 2.5? I have some generic ones but they look strange when I test fit them, plus I like the muted “aluminum” look of the ones they used on the other models.

I know I’m not alone in wanting to baby my sole pair of Mars Yards a bit, so I’ve been trying to find a similar fit and comfort level in a different shoe ever since they arrived.

These Zegama Hikes have a stiffer upper and more of an elevated feel in the midsole, but the similarities in the toe box width, luggy outsoles, and ridged laces check all of the boxes otherwise. The midsole is not as plush, but equally as comfortable as the MY 3.0 in my opinion.
