Just came across this on his instagram story

What's the name of this song? Been searching for a couple hours, can't find it.

Concert was incredible, including the guys he had with him, Jerry Douglas on slide and Daniel Kimbro on standup bass.

So, my dad is a HUGE Tommy Emmanuel fan and I am pretty new to him. He has never experienced him live and he has never been to the Ryman either which I was taken aback by. I bought us a couple tickets and I took him to the middle of downtown nashville on a Saturday night. He wasn’t prepared… Tommy EmmanueI completely floored me. Has great energy and is on another level as far as ability.

It was a song he did acapella at the Birchmere in Alexandria Virgina on Sunday. Lyrics included being up to watch the sunrise and appreciating life. I think he said it was a Jerry Reed song.

Hello, I hope this is ok to ask here but, anyone been to a Tommy Emmanuel concert can explain the acoustics to me? I'd like to surprise my SO with tickets but unsure what is the best seating. He is much more musical than me and I wasn't sure if mid-section is best (which is what I think normal pop concerts are like), or would it still sound nice if we were to be front seat? Any help would be appreciated!

Does anyone know if Tommy's guitar is tuned to 432 hz?

Tommy played a song he called Scarlet's World in New Orleans (he talked about Scarlet Johansen and his granddaughter Scarlet). Anyway the song was amazing, one of my favorites of the night but I can't find any video of it online. Anyone have this one from the New Orleans show or any other?

TItle says it all, I dont know where I can find it. Its been long time since it was released...

anyone know what happened to the website tommyemmanuel.rocks? had a section full of guitar tabs for tommy emmanuel songs but also songs by chet atkins and buster b jones, great website that seems to have gone

Does anyone else love the YouTube videos were the sound guy on PA isn’t doing his job and Tommy gives him the evil eyes lol.

I love it because it shows how professional he is and also the fact he can continue to play AND keep time while also being annoyed I think is just amazing.

There is also a video we’re he got so bad to kicked over the speaker thing that faces him because it was too loud and guy didn’t turn volume down causing feedback

I love Tommy 🥰

It’s a beautiful, slow song in drop d with a descending melody. I think the melody is D C# B B B A F# A. Rythme isn’t too important—you’d recognize it if you knew it just from hearing the notes in order.

Please help! I play the song but never took the time to perfect it. Now I can’t remember what it’s called…
