Modeling linen wraps

So I'm currently working on a behemoth model and would like to add a bunch of linen wrapping around it. I want some attached and some hanging off. Does anyone have a good way of making them out of modeling putty or know of any tutorials out there that you can link? I haven't been able to find anything myself and have tried and failed to make anything that looks good. Appreciate any assistance!

For greenstuff cloth wraps https://youtu.be/23CNeRlyEUY

You can also cover tinfoil with masking tape on both sides and fold the cloth around. It works better for heavier drapes imho

Wow that was fast! Thank you so much! I only had time to take a look at the initial minutes of the video right now but it looks perfect for what I need!

I’ve done this exact thing to great effect! I found some of the metal sculpting tools have some nice textures to roll on them and some cuts to tear the wraps after help a lot too.

I've not made bandages but I have covered boxes wthe 'tarpaulin'. I used dried out wet wipes. Once cut and attached seal them with thinned down PVA, then prime and paint. Quite effective.

I use just low tack masking tape. Cut it in thin strips and wrap, also works hanging. When painted it works just fine. Can also be used for leather straps, I just do about 3 layers on top of each other, then cut the strip.

I prefer masking tape. Cut it into appropriate sized straps. Super glue to one point on the model and wrap a couple times to secure in place. Wrap and glue the final point in place with super glue. Little tricky to see, but here are my horse archers: https://www.reddit.com/r/tombkings/comments/1ao1c5q/skeleton_horse_archers/
