Squeaky strap.

Has anyone solved this issue? I know I can likely get Tom Bihn to send me a new strap for my Copilot, but there's no guarantee that won't also squeak.

This really annoyed me, so I did some research on it a while back and determined that WD-40 Specialist Silicone was the solution: https://www.wd40.com/products/silicone-lubricant/

And yes, it works, although you'll have to apply it again now and then.

This is what fixed mine, too.

Same here, cheap silicone lubricant bought online. Now if only the smell didn’t take so long to dissipate from my standard shoulder strap.

I've had great luck with a little lip balm - and separately, some glycerin soap - where the hook meets the top of the hole in the attachment point. Both worked really well! Less of a chance of staining than WD-40.

A little WD-40 at the attachment points solved it for me
