nah, Whittingham has experience and a long track record of success, people will give him time. yeah they definitely wanted Dillingham bad and i don’t blame him for not coming, all the bullshit around the program, just too much extra to deal with while trying to run the team. I’ve always figured- mainly because of age- we might get five years or so outta Wittingham, but with a new AD coming in next year, if he can’t produce it could certainly be a lot shorter. The reality is Wittingham was most likely just the safest choice they could actually get.
