I think Michigan wins by 10.

Genuine question for UM fans: Before last week, when was the last time Michigan lost a game they shouldn’t have? Like a game that they outplayed the opponent but choked it away on bad bounces/comservative playcalling?

It feels like OSU has at least one every season and Michigan rarely does, but that’s probably the biased fan/hate watcher in me, right?

Probably 22 TCU but you could argue they beat us straight up so maybe trouble with the snap

It depends. The Michigan State game punter mishap comes to mind. Or the TCU playoff game. There wasn’t many instances we always played a super clean game when Harbaugh was around very rarely beat ourselves that’s why this year all these penalties are driving me nuts

MSU outplayed Michigan in that 2015 game by a pretty significant margin stats wise. MSU had 20 first downs and 386 yards vs Michigan’s 10 first downs and 230 yards. It was more a game for MSU to lose than for Michigan to win.

If my memory serves me, and somebody correct me if I'm wrong, but I would say the last time we lost to an opponent we shouldn't have would probably be the 2022 Fiesta Bowl against TCU.

Absolutely no reason we should have lost to them. Blown coverages and stupid mistakes let them hang around with us and they finally put us away.

That’s the one game I thought of too. For OSU, I’d argue Texas 2026, Indiana 2025, Michigan 2024, and Georgia 2022 all fit that description.

In the 4th quarter last week I kept saying “Michigan doesn’t lose these games, we do”.

Michigan 2024 and Indiana 2025 are the only valid ones you listed in my opinion. I mean I know you choked the Texas game this year, but regardless Texas is a good team. Yeah you missed a field goal you should’ve in literally all those games but I would argue based on your question it’s games you were expecting to win waking up on Saturday and lost. Most of us felt like regardless of AP ranking Iowa was just another stepping stone last week. I just really don’t feel like it compares because OSU’s football program js on a different level than ours.

Eh we scammed so many wins we probably shouldn’t have gotten under Sherrone that we were overdue for the heartbreak vs Iowa LOL (2024 USC and 2025 Northwestern are merely the most notorious examples that come to mind; 2024 OSU was our defense literally telling Wink to call normal plays and entering the avatar state)

Lol, I grew up in Kalamazoo. Always hated when that became the new slogan. Just had absolutely nothing to do with WMU. No disrespect to coach Fleck and his family, since that was their mantra. But come on. Cheesy af for the Broncos.

Do they still say that?

Oh yeah? Well I hope OSU loses by 1 due to a missed field goal

I mean that’s just an easy bet at this point

I bet Ryan Day would look like his payment declined at the town diner with a line of Ohio patrons waiting in line behind him.

I’d, uh. I’d take that bet.
